Who is Armaan Premjee?
Armaan Karim Premjee is a popular businessman and real estate agent born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Little is known about Armaan Premjee's family, as he has not disclosed any details about his parents and siblings.
Armaan attended D Y Patil International School for his high school education. He later moved to the University of Southern California to pursue a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was a representative of the Kappa Sigma fraternity at USC but was expelled from the chapter after he was accused of sexually abusing a fellow student.

Armaan Premjee's story
Armaan is a former USC student who was arrested by Los Angeles police in July 2017 on suspicion of sexual assault. He was later released after posting $100,000 bail. Armaan had been accused ofsexually assaulting a fellow USC undergraduate student named Arshia at a campus dormitory in Fluor Tower.
During Premjee’s preliminary hearing, his attorney, Harland Braun, played surveillance video of Armaan and Arshia at Banditos, a bar south of Exposition Park. The American attorney also played another video at Fluor Tower, the young woman's residence hall.

The security footage outside the Banditos club showed the victim willingly led him to her dorm room from a nightclub. From the footage, she is seen meeting Premjee at the club before leading him out and making a sexual gesture to her friend behind his back. The judge, Michael Pastor, argued that this signaled her willingness to engage with Armaan.

Due to insufficient evidence, the court dismissed the case after reviewing the footage presented in the court. In fact, the judge decided that the victim was the initiator of the sexual encounter.
There is no indication of any withdrawal of consent. There is a very strong indication that the alleged victim in this case was the initiator of any conduct between the defendant and the alleged victim.However, the prosecutors opposed the ruling, claiming that the woman was too drunk to give him consent. After the court ruling, the University of Southern California retracted its decision to expel Armaan. He was reinstated to USC on 18 December 2018.
Who accused Armaan Premjee of sexual assault?
Armaan was accused of sexual assault by Arshia and her roommate. Her roommate is said to have walked into Arshia's room in the middle of the assault. Interestingly, Arshia later told the police she remembered nothing from that night.
